It’s been awhile now, that I didn’t write anything, I mean I didn’t write a proper story. So I thought of starting to write a small series. I asked some of my friends that what genre I should write in and they all told Romance would be better. Yeah, because these age is better for romance. Let us be like Shakespeare when we our old not now. ”Ha Ha, So you are saying you gonna be like Shakespeare? “. That was the question you thinking right now to ask me na? No my dear lovable darlings. I just wanna be the unique “writer”, to make you understand with simple language. So let’s begin the Romance..

Chapter 1: Angels do live on earth.

Packing the bag was done at last. Ritesh was ready to take off towards Pune for his three day workshop and seminar that was organized by the youth forum that Ritesh have been a part of. He was so thrilled and excited for that, he was not excited about the meeting obviously, But excited about the place and the fun with his friends that he is gonna make. Yeah, Ritesh was the only one who got selected from his college for the workshop he would be travelling with some unknown strangers, but he thinks that they will become good friends at the end eventually.

He reached train station and waited his colleagues to join with him. Dev, Rohan and Shiva these are the other three guys who joined with him later. All of them introduced themselves properly because they know each other formally via phone only. They got into the train and started talking. From Delhi chapter these are the selected candidates. As the train started moving the “Balle Balle “Began.

“Arey yaar, no girls in this compartment bro..” said Dev. Ya he literally flirts all the girls he just see, Rohan was saying “It’s all your faith, Did you pray before you left hostel, that you will get a girl?”, “No dude” Dev was frustrated. “Trust me no girls gonna come” Ritesh said. For that Shiva ,“How can you say like that, there may be one or two, Right?”. “No, Shiva I just so the list in that compartment, All just aunties only” Ritesh gave a wicked smile. All boys were so sad and suddenly started laughing, “Who cares no problem let’s play whole night” Dev with so much enthusiasm. That made all others laugh because he was the one who was asking about girls in the first place.

As the train moved the gossiping started, so much they were sharing, these made them to get close with each other. Talking made them get to the know their real characters. They had food on train and suddenly Ritesh felt uneasy after eating, He vomited and He got so sick by night. Dev took care of him. He got water and made Ritesh to get some rest. All slept peacefully. Finally the journey came to an end. They dropped down at Pune railway station. There was a guy named Rahul waiting for them. He welcomed them spoke so politely and took them to the Cab. “How is Pune?” Rahul asked. “Just, we reached bro.. Let us explore a bit” Riteish replied. “Ha,Ha ok” Rahul said with a glimpsing smile. The reply of Riteish made clear that he was ok ok.

They reached the venue of their seminar. It was such a huge college and they were totally stunned by looking at all those buildings of that college and the huge space it was holding.  “Seriously I should bring my college chairman or send some pictures of these buildings to him. To tell this is a good college not ours, as he always mentions about our college is one of the best..” said Rohan. Dev with a smile said “Ya try bro, he will give your TC and will tell you to study here only”. Shiva and Ritesh started laughing. To get away from them Roham was saying “Rahul, Wait I’m coming”, but Dev got him by hand and told “Don’t Run Rohan Ji We also coming with you only” and all started walking. While teasing Rohan they went to the Boys’ Hostel where the accommodation was been provided for them.

Dev,Rohan and Riteish stayed together. Shiva went to another room. Dev wanted to be with Ritesh to take care him because Ritesh still was not able to eat properly and continuously going to the washroom. Ritesh took some medicine, like temporary first aid and went to sleep. Poor Dev, was jumping here and there for Network “F***** ****** doesn’t have signal anywhere”, Rohan was like “Ya you won’t get signals for F*****” and again they both ended up teasing each other. But later on Rohan gave his tab to Dev so he can chat with his Girlfriend for a while. Dev had a girlfriend in his country Nepal. Where Rohan is already engaged and Ritesh is single. Shiva.. He was little reserved so he didn’t share about those with anyone.

The Next Day they all got up freshened up and went to the venue. Dev asked Ritesh “Are you all right?”, “Yes” he replied. While walking in a Distance Ritesh saw a Girl suddenly. He wiped his eyes and saw again, she was not there this time. He thought it may be a hallucination. So he just started clicking pictures of the place.

For some time he was clicking pictures with his camera, Dev called him to have breakfast. Ritesh told him to go and he told he will be there in five minutes. He finished clicking, switched off his camera and turned towards the canteen.

It was a long path both the sides trees were nurturing the path by providing shades. In a Distance he again saw a girl. That was her, SHE WAS THE ONE that he saw previously also. This time it’s not a dream. Slowly rain started as drizzles. He started walking towards her like a metal pulled by a magnet. She was slim. Taller than average girls. Had curly hair. Not so fair but she had the sexiest skin tone. She was running here and there as her hair was dancing in the air. Her eyes were like coins glittering in the beach where the sun so bright. Black pearls which covered up with freshly picked up cotton. Her lips were so rosy. She didn’t have any jewelries on her body except two small earrings. “Ok Bhaiya main aaraha hoon…” she was shouting towards a guy and the voice was flowing as honey inside Ritesh’s ears.

As the rain gave a perfect atmosphere the trees were waving with the wind he was in a dream world. The best part is she was in a white color shalwar and that moment Ritesh realized that... ANGELS DO LIVE ON EARTH.

When he went near to her he couldn’t able to speak, he tried a bit but suddenly that moment Dev came there and “Hey, you are looking so pretty today... It’s Dev from Nepal, What’s your lovely name may I know?” He asked her and he shook her hand. Ritesh was standing there and felt a huge bucket of Tar felt on a newly a newly painted white color wall. All romantic scene gone. He was cursing Dev like hell, the best part was she was smiling so cute and she was looking so damn pretty when she told her name is…….

“RIYA”.

Ritesh was melting, when Dev said to her “Nice name, I’ll talk with you later my friend had come we gonna have breakfast”. She said “Oh,ok” and walked away. Listening to this Ritesh was in a war inside his mind with Dev.

Dev took Ritesh inside to have Dinner but Ritesh Heart just started following Riya’s footsteps... And Kept on Saying ANGELS DO LIVE ON EARTH and She Better is than them.

Chapter 3: The conclusion

A year of patience, continuous calls, messages, rejection and heart breaks.. “Ha Ha” I am not talking about a love story, you people and I’m not going to talk such. Don’t worry, just settle down as I try to finish the conclusion of my journey.

Although I was a stranger as I reached Pune and started to mingle with the people the feeling of being stranger started to fade away with the time. As I was done with my police verification and to fetch my Residential permit I went to the Foreign Regional Registration Office in Pune, which was situated in the police commissioner’s office. As I reached there I saw so much punctual people which they should get an award to be on time. Although the office hours starts at ten a.m. and even I was there around 10.15. none of the counters were ready to serve the people who came there for their service. They were simply walking around just having tea and arranging their desks. Talking on mobile and taking selfies. “Seriously?” Then they could have told the working hour starts around 10.30 a.m right? But What to do if they do so however the work will eventually start at 11.a.m so let it be, I was just simply saying these to myself..

As I reached an officer he told that I need a Unique I.D for my registration. As I am unknown about this new term which was called “Unique I.D.” I further inquired him how to obtain one, he told that contact the “International Centre” of your university and they will help you. So I returned back and went to the “International Centre”. When I try to inquire them some of the staffs’ faces were puzzled more than mine and they didn't even know what a Unique I.D. is As I am standing there with confusion, a girl who came there for some documentation work from another country so me suffering and she elaborated about Unique I.D. She explained that it is provided by the respective colleges where you studying not the international centre, furthermore she told that she got her I.D from the college she was studying and she told that she don’t know about the university procedure. After sometime one person from the Centre told me to contact my respective department for the specific necessity.

So I reached my department and tried to find a solution for this confusion from the administrative people. As I’m so close with bad luck, there goes another confusion amongst them, as they also don’t know what Unique I.D really is. I was like “WHAT??” inside my head there was world war 3 going on. To make them understand and to get a clear idea about this problem, finally I contacted my Sri Lankan friend and asked him, he told me to go his department as they already been proving these Unique I.Ds to students so they will guide you to obtain one and also he gave his bonafide Letter which consisted his Unique I.D. for further reference.

After that I took the Office person from my Department to my friend’s Department. There they explained all the procedures in detail. After that we came back and tried to register me for a Unique I.D but then only we got to know that our department is not yet been registered with the Foreigner registration system to provide a Unique I.D. What to say about my bad luck? Everywhere is a obstacle freshly being prepared for me I thought, But my department people were so curious to solve this problem so they tried their best. The office person himself made an application and sent that to the police station to activate the registration system, the registration process took long and the system got activated by next Monday. So I had to wait for a whole week. Finally I got the Unique I.D and finished off with all my regulations.

During this period I started to get along with people in my class, started to talk with them share my views and get to know about theirs as well. Good people, good talks, as I started to talk with them, the distance we had started to get reduced, Tasting the typical local food, getting to know about the cultures made me to think more and made me to know more as well. Eventually the days became awesome. I started to make nick names for almost everyone in the class and greeted all with the best smile that I could give. These made me one step closer to them. As my good luck being lifted up the Fresher’s Day came by, this made me to get along with the seniors as well as my classmates.

Fresher’s Day was truly an awesome day in Pune I may say. As the day started off with a lecture but along the day it turned out to be a very good one. I didn't mean that the lecture was not good. Its good only but we were not ready to learn and it would have been awesome if we were ready to learn that’s all I tried to say, hopefully that day all were in a mood to enjoy, That’s it.

Games, laughs, ramp walk, Dances, music, Songs and finally I got crowned as Mr. Fresher as well. (See I noted that I got Mr. Fresher, OK? – Actually my Friends told me to note it.) Strangers became classmates and classmates became friends. Later on the days turned out to be good, from 9-6 however we would be hanging around in the laboratory that made me to know all.

Language is kinda barrier to me, I try my maximum to overcome that, whenever people around me talking in Marathi, it feels little awkward only not because it’s wrong, just because I couldn't be able to understand it. I try to ask them, sometimes they tell but sometimes they just laugh and tells nothing. I know it can be nothing but that laughs makes me feel uneasy. Some really takes their time and explains everything but I cannot expect that to happen always right?, Some words I can understand with the flow but sometimes it feels like I’m inside a dark jungle with my eyes tied up as well. Ya, I know it’s a problem that they also can’t do anything about it. People who belongs to a nativity will speak the local language only, it just happens and they don’t do it deliberately.
Sometimes I feel like I’m the odd man out, that time I try myself to get along, ignore what they speaking in their local language and will quietly stand there with a smile. It’s easy to walk away and stay alone. But walking away will take me totally away and that I really don’t want to happen. People are so good, each and everyone has their own quality of uniqueness with them, that’s what makes them who they really are. It’s fascinating to see each and everyone how they talk get along and share things. Sometimes things are surprising and sometimes things are usual as I expected.

As for my conclusion...

An awesome class filled with awesome people no words to explain about them simply I call them my family as they accepted me with so much love and they accepted me in the way I am. Lovely University the atmosphere, the monsoon weather, the evening drizzles, the roads, buzzing vehicles, and rides in my bicycle makes my life something interesting. And the book of life happily started to add pages about Pune with so good memories. More to tell and more to share, but let it be personal to make it more valuable...
