The Visual FX

Visual effects a common word that is being used these days in world of Media. This called as VFX,Visual effects or Visual FX. It is a process by which imagery is created or manipulated outside the context of a live action shooting.

VFX is media that we can create a thing that is not really happening or that is not available in this world for us to see. This is a context which includes live action motion with a combination of imaginary generated group of pictures which helps in creating a environment which looks realistic.

The VFX is used in generating scenes which are realistic, but would be dangerous, costly, or simply impossible to capture on film.VFX those are created using CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) commonly in big budget films these days. It's really been a must on those films to attract more audience and to earn more income.

Visual effects are often integral to a movie's story and appeal. Although most visual effects work is completed during post-production, it usually must be carefully planned and choreographed in Pre-production and production. Visual effects are designed and edited in Post-Production, with the use of graphic design, modeling, animation and similar software, while special effects are made on set, such as explosions, car chases and so on. A visual effects supervisor is usually involved with the production from an early stage to work closely with production and the film's director to achieve the desired effects.

Visual effects may be divided into at least four categories:

•     Models: miniature sets and models, animatronics, stop motion animation.

•     Matte paintings and stills: digital or traditional paintings or photographs which serve as background plates for keyed or rotoscoped elements.

•     Live-action effects: keying actors or models through bluescreening and greenscreening.

•     Digital animation: modeling, computer graphics lighting, texturing, rigging, animating, and rendering computer-generated 3D characters, particle effects, digital sets, backgrounds.

Digital effects (commonly shortened to digital FX or FX) are the various processes by which imagery is created and/or manipulated with or from photographic assets. Digital effects often involve the integration of still photography and computer generated imagery (CGI) in order to create environments which look realistic, but would be dangerous, costly, or simply impossible to capture in camera. FX is usually associated with the still photography world in contrast to visual effects which is associated with motion film production.Amateur VFX Animation which are VFX made by budding VFX artists. e.g. Fancock 4 and LTS.

 The audience of this decade love to see the films which contains those Big Bang features has the ability to attract the audience to freeze them in their place till a movie finishes. You can say that the films those are produced these days depends on the VFX only. There are some certain audience who still loves the realistic films but I can say those are created only to telecast a director's/performer's talent in the visual media and also to achieve an award in the film industry.

There may be some certain films that can attract audience only with the live action shooting but as my final conclusion the film industry of now really depends on the VFX without it the industry of motion picture is nothing.

The Tick Tock Theory of INTEL

The theory that Intel using in their production of microprocessors is called the TICK TOCK theory.
 
"Tick Tock" is a model adopted by chip manufacturer Intel Corporation since 2007 to follow every micro architectural change with a die shrink of the process technology. Every "tick" is a shrinking of process technology of the previous micro architecture and every "tock" is a new micro architecture Every year, there is expected to be one tick or tock.

The first architectural change was a "Die shrink" one.Presler, Cedar Mill, Yonah are the code names that were used for the first ones. On 5th of January 2006 these were launched into market as Pentium 4,D,M,Dual-Core and Celeron.

The final one in the line up is "tick" the one that was built to a die shrink in the architectural change of the "Tick Tock". The final one was a 22nm micro processor which was code named as "Ivy Bridge". This one was launched on 29th of April 2012.

The future of the concept will continue till 2021 when the 5nm processor will be produced by the Intel corporation as for their prediction.

Hi Friends,
